RESAW SYSTEMS The inclined resaw system, a new concept by F&S, uses gravity to help position and feed square edge, round back and waney edge cants through the resaw and dispatch. Positive feed, accurate sawing without sniping, no telegraphing of head saw defects and trouble free dispatch are highlights of this system and available on our single, twin, or quad models. every roll in the F&S inclined resaw can be a "live" roll. All crowder rolls are powered. The inclined resaw from F&S can operate
faster than 400 feet per minute. That's production you can take to the bank!!! There is less waste and thinner kerfs using accurate
resaws. The lines you make at the resaw (rather than at the headrig or at the battery edger) are more profitable. The operator loads and positions cants from his control position, selects the sawing and dispatching pattern, and the F&S equipment does the rest. Computer stored sets control the cut and dispatching of sawed pieces automatically. You'll learn to love the mighty muscle F&S builds into everything they make and especially the way they put gravity to work for you in F&S's new linebar
resaws. Before inclined line bar resaws, slabs and waney edges had a tendency to fall over, snip and be a bother to position in the cut. F&S has changed that with the new inclined design. Now you get powered bottom and side roll, plus powered edge support chain and ALL STOCK is carried through the saw area without unwanted movement even when the down edge is
waney. The result is accurately sawed lumber. Slabs and cants never bind up the blade. Every F&S resaw is fitted with quick change guide holders that are set up and jointed off the machine. Compact dust housings move
with the resaw and open fully to service the saw.
